I guess,
If this plane were to shudder
into violent orange bits
in the presure of this cold front
and we had a weightless moment
before the end
it would not matter so much
because after it was all over
I would not be frustrated
by my inability to explain death to you
because there you would be
and we could spend eternity
talking about what it was like
when our breath left our body
and how weird it was
that the stewardess was stuck
pushing bags of salted nuts
on weary passengers
